Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures

Student Drop Off

Council Street

If you are dropping your student off for school at the front of the school, Council St., please utilize our school’s student valet. Following the street cones, pull to the curb, stop your car, and wait for one of our parent volunteers to open your car door to allow your child to step out. Once your child has exited the car, carefully drive off.

UTK and Kindergarten Students: Parents, please tell you if your child is in UTK or Kindergarten. All UTK and Kindergarten students being dropped off will be escorted to the Library or Kindergarten yard by a staff member and handed to the UTK or Kindergarten supervisor. UTK and Kindergarten children may not be dropped off after the bell. Late families must park and walk their children to school.

First Street

If you are dropping off your child at the First Street gate, We do not have a student valet service in First Street. Please follow the street signs for passenger loading to allow other children to be dropped off. 

All UTK and Kindergarten students being dropped off will be escorted to the kindergarten yard by a staff member and handed to the UTK or Kindergarten supervisor. UTK and Kindergarten children may not be dropped off after the bell. Late families must park and walk their children to school.

Student Pick Up

School dismissal is at 2:43 PM Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

School dismissal is at 1:43 on Tuesdays. 

Kindergarten and UTK will be dismissed daily from the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). Kindergarten and 1st grades will be dismissed at the Council Street gate. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades will be dismissed at the First Street gate. The gates will close at 3:15 PM. Students not part of an after-school program and not picked up by 3:15 PM must be signed out in the office by a parent/ guardian.
